I’m ready to go public with my New Year’s resolution for 2016. And I’m happy to report not only that this year’s resolution has nothing to do with how I fair on the bathroom scales, but also that I’ve managed to make it all the way to January 3rd without breaking it.
Here it is: in 2016, John Farnsworth will not exceed 65 mph while driving.
I realize that this may sound drastic, but it’s my way of signing on to the Paris climate agreement. It’s also a response to Laudato Si’s call for “ecological conversion.”
I figure it’s the least I can do. Or maybe the maximum?
