A photo taken this afternoon of a 500+ year-old valley oak, the oldest tree on campus. Notice the autumnal leaves and the vernal buds.
I'm thinking that this photo wouldn't make any sense to someone from Massachusetts, where they insist on inserting a season between fall and spring.
